On 21 July 2026, MOMODa FOUNDATION successfully concluded the 7-day Training of District Research Assistants (DRAs) for the project “Situation Analysis of Technology in Education” at the NGO Forum for Public Health, Lalmatia, Dhaka.
The training focused on research objectives, survey methodologies, data collection techniques, ethical research practices, and field implementation guidelines to prepare DRAs for effective study implementation.
The technical sessions were facilitated by Md Enamul Haque, Executive Director; H. M. Masudur Rahman, Senior Research Coordinator; and Nani Halder Ovhik, Research Assistant.
During the training programme, Professor Dr. Mir Zahida Naznin, Director, Planning and Development Wing, and Nahida Parvin, Deputy Director, Research & Innovation Section, Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE), attended as distinguished guests and shared valuable insights on the importance of evidence-based research in advancing technology in education.
The training sessions were also joined by Principal Investigator Dr. Tomoki Fujii, Professor, Singapore Management University; Dr. Abu S. Shonchoy, Professor, Florida International University; and Dr. Cristian Ho, Professor, Singapore Management University.
The training was formally concluded by Md. Jasim Uddin, Chairman, and Syeda Bilquis Banu, Member of the Executive Committee of MOMODa FOUNDATION. Prizes were also awarded to the top-scoring participants in recognition of their outstanding performance.
