Dr Kazushi Takahashi from The Graduate Research Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS), Japan along with one of his Master's students Mr Yuma Noritimo has visited the project locations in Gaibandha, last month. The team have stayed there for a week-long and visited several projects like High Frequent Data Collection for Ultra-poor Households and Savings Scheme Project for ultra-poor Households.
The project has been implemented by a local NGO, Gaibandha Rural Development Foundation (GRDF) and the project has been phased out with repaying back the savings amount to the project beneficiaries with due interest amount as per project design.
