Solar Boat Charge project has been begun it’s production phase

MOMODa FOUNDATION in collaboration with Southampton University UK and Gana Unnayan Kendra (GUK), Gaibandha Bangladesh started Solar Boat charged Project to replace the kerosene lantern as the lighting source in un-electrified char households. 800 WP solar panel has been installed on the roof of a boat. The solar panel has been installed with 120 Ah, 12V battery, charge controller and convertor from which every day 60 power box is charging which is being distributed to the char households for lighting their households and charging mobile phones. Dr. Abu Shonchoy, Adjunct Assistant Professor, the University of Tokyo along with Dr.Tasmiat Rahaman, Research Fellow, University of Southampton and Mr. Enamul Haque, Director, Business and Development, MOMODa FOUNDATION took the initiative on hand on late December 2016.
