Excellent field work by Da Yea Oh

Da Yea Oh, a researcher of Harvard University has visited MOMODa FOUNDATION on 13 July 2019 to observe the aftermath of the flood and help oversee hand washing behaviors of children in schools. Improved hygiene practices have direct links with reduction of many water borne diseases. Simple practices of washing hands with soaps has proven impacts on health outcome. In this regard she has visited many schools and had meeting with school management team as well as teachers. She completed pilot project with MOMODa FOUNDATION and confirmed to launch “Spillover Effects of Hand Washing Behaviors in Children” project. She left Bangladesh on 07 August 2019. During her second visit from 31 August 2019 to 23 September 201, she has also interviewed household beneficiaries of the project titled “Spillover Effects of Hand Washing Behaviors in Children”. She has observed the total scenario of research procedure and discussed about the field findings with the research team of Project Office.
